Entertainment Even though Ben Higgins’ season may have just begun, it’s already obvious that Bachelor contestant Jubilee Sharpe is forging a special connection with our leading man, and I love her already. From the moment she appeared on the scene, talking about her experiences in the military, it was clear that not only is she beautiful, but she also has one of the strongest personalities on the show this year. Something else I noticed about her: She has a lot of tattoos.
- You can see some of her ink on the show, but it’s hard to make out exactly what the pictures and words are just from what we see on The Bachelor;
- So what are Jubilee’s tattoos ? Unfortunately, there isn’t a list of all of them out there, but it does seem like there are a lot;
In her Twitter bio from 2011, Jubilee says she has eight tattoos , but it does sound like the number has grown since then because OK! Here Is The Situation says she has 13 , but the site doesn’t mention its source for the info. So it’s safe to say that she’s got plenty, and hopefully, she’ll show them off at some point this season.
Until then, a little social media investigating will have to do! One of Jubilee’s most prominent tattoos is the text on her collarbone, and fortunately, she’s already explained that one. According to what the 24-year-old told a fan on Twitter, it says, “the past is practice ,” and in another tweet, she hinted that the importance of that sentence to her will come into play on The Bachelor in the weeks to come.
Now I’m dying to know what she means by that! Her Instagram also reveals a few more of her tattoos. In these photos, it looks like she’s got one on her wrist, thigh, and stomach, even though it’s unclear what they are: As someone who’s deathly afraid of needles but wants a tattoo desperately, I admire people who are brave enough to get one, let alone eight or more! As if her military background wasn’t enough, this just proves that Jubilee is a strong woman, and I hope we get to find out more about her ink as the season progresses, because I am fascinated.
Maybe she can convince nice guy Ben to get a rose tattooed on his butt cheek or something? Now there is a one-on-one date that the world needs to see. Chris Harrison, get on it! For everything Bachelor Nation, follow our Bachelor fan page on Facebook.

What is the meaning of Jubilee?
What does jubilee mean? – The Cambridge Dictionary defines a jubilee as a “celebration of the day on which an important event happened many years ago”. The word come from the Old French jubileu , meaning “jubilee”, “anniversary” or “rejoicing”, and the Hebrew yobhel , meaning “jubilee,” and formerly “a trumpet” or “ram’s horn”.
The original jubilee, appearing in the Old Testament, was a year of emancipation of Hebrew slaves and restoration of lands, to be celebrated every 50th year. It was proclaimed by the sounding of a ram’s horn on the Day of Atonement.
The form of the word was altered in Latin by association with the unrelated Latin iubilare , meaning “to shout with joy”. Merriam-Webster Dictionary says: “French speakers adopted the word as jubilé , and English speakers created jubilee from the French and Latin forms.

What does the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee mean?
How many years is a Platinum Jubilee? – The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee commemorates her being on the throne for 70 years, with the main traditional jubilees as follows:
- Silver Jubilee: 25th anniversary
- Ruby Jubilee: 40th anniversary
- Golden Jubilee: 50th anniversary
- Diamond Jubilee: 60th anniversary
- Sapphire Jubilee: 65th anniversary
- Platinum Jubilee: 70th anniversary
Jubilee names will be familiar to many as they follow the same convention as those commonly used to denote significant wedding anniversaries. The Queen and Prince Philip , for example, marked their platinum wedding anniversary in 2017 – 70 years of married life. However, the celebration of royal jubilees pre-dates this, with the first recorded commemorations coming in the reign of George III, Queen Victoria’s grandfather.
- He marked his Golden Jubilee, the 50th anniversary of his accession, in 1809, with celebrations including a private service and firework display at Windsor;
- This is the first time a UK monarch has marked a platinum jubilee, and only a handful of leaders around the world have reached the milestone;
The last was Bhumibol Adulyadej, the late King of Thailand, who passed 70 years on the throne in 2016. As the longest-serving monarch before Elizabeth II, Queen Victoria marked two significant anniversaries: her Golden Jubilee in 1887 and her Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
The celebrations included royal banquets attended by foreign rulers and military processions through London. Elizabeth II has had three major jubilees – her Silver Jubilee in 1977, her Golden Jubilee in 2002 and Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
The Queen’s Ruby and Sapphire Jubilees in 1992 and 2017 respectively were commemorated in a more modest fashion..
